Friday Favorites 10/21

This seems weird but I don't have that much to share with you this week.  It was still a whirlwind of a week but not everything is share worthy.  Last weekend I went to the coast for a leadership conference and was basically inside for three days.  Even so it was very productive and lots of fun.

This week was just filled with the normal stuff plus a work event at Dave & Buster's; not a bad place for a work social.  This morning I volunteered in Emily's classroom which I really enjoyed.
I'm so excited for a fun weekend including my best friend's 30th birthday bash!  Happy Birthday Gina!!!

Here's a few things I totally want to share:

Cirque du Soleil's TORUK is coming to Fresno next week, October 27th - October 30th at the Save Mart Center.  TORUK, The First Flight is inspired by James Cameron's AVATAR which is the first show inspired by a movie.  The show transports you to the world of Pandora with unforgettable characters and creatures.  The show is set thousands of years before AVATAR in TORUK and utilizes amazing technology including 40 projectors and a 15,000 square foot stage.

I was so excited for the new ABC show American Housewife and it did not disappoint!!!  By the time the opening credits ran I was in love and hooked.  It's so funny and too accurate.  All moms need to check out this show!

I guess this is my week to share my favorite shows.  I'm in love with more shows than I want to admit but another one that I just can't get enough of is Younger.  It's season 3 and I started watching back in Season 1 because it's the same writer from Sex & the City.  I'm so hooked and the 30 minute episode is not long enough.  There's way too much plot to catch you up on but I just have to say when there is a choice on a show I usually have a hands down winner.  I think this is the first time I can think of where I can't decide if I'm Team Josh or Team Charles.  Serious life problems here! LOL
