Summer is over- take me back to the sand and the surf. Several weeks ago we had the best family vacation at Dolphin Bay in Shell Beach. Kevin was able to come for one night and the rest of us (Grandma, Voa Voa, girls and I) stayed for 4 nights. We started our trip with a beach day in Avila Beach. The weather was beautiful, the beach was packed, and we had so much fun playing in the sand and water. Madi was a total crack up and kept us laughing the whole day.
One day we went to the park overlooking the ocean; it put our parks to shame.
Another evening we went for a walk and played on the beach right by the hotel.
We couldn't forget the outlets and the girls couldn't miss a few rides.
While we were there we celebrated my late nephew's birthday with a balloon release on the beach. It was a very memorable moment and we were honored to celebrate Rocco.
Even though it was a bit chilly we got in some pool time and this girl is a monkey. Both girls climb on my shoulders and then jump in.
We had the best time relaxing, eating, hanging out and playing games. I wish I could take a trip like this every month; this mama needs it!
