This last weekend my girlfriends and I did what I like to call the Vanderpump Tour. We did a quick getaway to LA and planned on eating at all of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants. We left very bright and early on Saturday morning and headed down to LA. A huge thanks to Christina for driving! Our first stop was at the Beverly Hills hotel which is where we wanted to stay but they only offer 1 bed per room which wouldn't work for 5 girls. We checked out the Polo Lounge but a burger was nearly $40 so we just did a little sight seeing and then headed to the Grove for lunch and shopping. We ate at La Piazza on the patio which is great atmosphere overlooking a mini Bellagio water feature. After a great lunch and a little shopping we grabbed cupcakes from Sprinkles. My sweet tooth was so happy! After checking into our hotel, Hotel Roosevelt, we went out to the pool for a drink and people watching. The pool was great but we didn't love our room by any means.
We then got ready for the night and headed to SUR. We weren't able to get a reservation but we were so lucky to grab a table in the bar. We saw Max, James, and Guillermo from Vanderpump Rules. Since we had a great spot at the restaurant we didn't want to give up our table so Rema, Dede and Mary walked down to Pump to see if the scene was better than SUR. We got a text saying Ken, Lisa, and Joyce were at PUMP. Christina and I paid the bill and literally ran to PUMP. PUMP was a total zoo (it was LA Gay Pride Weekend). Right away we took a picture with Kristin from Vanderpump Rules who was very sweet. We then stalked Lisa from these benches close to her table. A very long story short we eventually ended up getting to sit at "her table" and Christina sat in her personal pink chair after their group moved to a more discreet table. We waited over 4 hours to get a picture with her but didn't succeed. We did get a picture with Joyce from season 4 of The Beverly Hills Housewives. Even though we were super sad about the bust with Lisa we had so much fun making friends with the staff and chatting all night around a table at PUMP.
On Sunday we at Mel's Diner on Sunset instead of Villa Blanca because we were boycotting Lisa after the night before. Before heading home we checked out Kyle's store and Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills. On our way home we stopped at the outlets at Tejon.
We had the best weekend shopping, eating, laughing, and sharing stories. Love these girls and can't wait for more trips like these!
