My baby girl is 3 years old. That can't be possible! My heart bursts with pride when I think about Emily Grace. She is the friendliest, kindest, most generous, affectionate little girl. She shares great, listens well (outside the house, lol), is a GREAT helper, and is too smart for mommy and daddy. I'm not trying to paint the picture that she is perfect because believe me she has her moments!!! However, overall she is a wonderful little person and such a joy as a daughter. She is wearing 3T and size 7 shoes. She's been potty trained since January of this year but still wears diapers at nap and bed. Her bedtime is still somewhere between 7:00 pm and 7:30. She usually wakes up a little before 7:00 am but I don't get her out of bed until 7. She also won't leave her bed until I open her door. I love it! Emily is in preschool and is growing leaps and bounds at school. She loves her teachers and school friends very much. It seems like there is nothing she doesn't know. We laugh a million times a day at the things that come out of her mouth. You can't get anything past her; she knows it all.
On her birthday she asked for pancakes so I made Mickey pancakes because she's obsessed with all things Mickey!
After breakfast, opening a gift, and playing a little bit we got ready for a play date with Carter and Colton.
Voa Voa picked Em up from her play date and took her to Gymnastics Beat for Open Gym. I met them afterwards for lunch and shopping. That evening I asked Emily what she wanted for dinner; I told her she could pick anything. She wanted Mac n Cheese and pizza!
On Saturday we celebrated with Minnie and Mickey themed birthday party.
I made these invitations:
Kid's Table:
Mickey cupcakes I made with Oreo's and mini Oreo's:
My mom made these delicious Mickey rice crispy treats. I didn't get a pic of the full platter:

As you walked in the house the kids grabbed Minnie and Mickey ears to wear during the party. I made the sign and I added the bows to the ears for the girls:

This girl LOVES her JJ. She saw him and took off running:
The kids played a game, "Hunting for Pluto's Bones." I cut out Pluto Bones and we spread them around the yard. The kids had fun collecting them.
Carter was the winner with 10 bones.
Emily with Auntie Pammy and Tinsley:
Christina and Kennedy. Kennedy is 12 days younger than Madi and it just so happened that they were EXACT twins yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't get a pic of them together.
Party guests:
Blowing out her candles:
Godfather, Uncle Mike helping Em with her cupcake:
Opening her gifts:
Emily with her wonderful Godparents, Mimi and Uncle Mike
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our special little girl. She had a blast and we had so much fun throwing her a birthday party. We are blessed in so many ways; God is good.
