My two best friends got married a few weeks ago. It was a family affair; we were all in the wedding. It was such a honor to be there to support our very special friends.
I went down on Friday morning to get mani/pedi's with Gina. We then relaxed by the pool before heading to the rehearsal. The Serpa Family hosted a fabulous rehearsal dinner at Papapolloni's. I stayed the night at Gina's parents house where we had a final girls night before Gina became Mrs. Serpa. Saturday we did hair and makeup at their house while sipping on Champagne. It was a really fun day.
The wedding was in Oakdale where Gina is from. They were married in the same church as her parents and many other family members. It was such a beautiful church. Our little flower girl did not make it down the aisle. I think it was a combo of no nap and not knowing the ring bearer and junior bridesmaids. I was devastated that she just screamed and didn't walk down the aisle:( Regardless, the ceremony was beautiful.
The reception was in Oakdale as well and everything was so BEAUTIFUL and tons of fun as well!
As I said in my toast, I wish Gina and Anthony, "health to bless their bodies, wealth to pack their pockets, joy to fill their future, and that their love last forever!"
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Serpa!
